Infoinvent - 2021 Exhibition - a new record of distinctions set by Nicolae Testemitanu University Researchers

Outstanding Inventor Moldovan Government Award, Gold Medal for Inventors of the World Intellectual Property Organization, trophy for Best Invention Created by a Woman Inventor and Trophy for Best Invention Created by a Young Inventor, and 10 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 7 bronze medals - all these distinctions were granted to inventors and scientific researchers from Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy due to their excellent performance at Infoinvent International Specialized Exhibition, 2021 edition.
The most valuable trophy of the exhibition - the Outstanding Inventor Award of the Government of the Republic of Moldova was bestowed upon academician Gheorghe Țîbîrnă, professor at Ion Lupan Department of Pediatric Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery and Pedodontics, Doctor Habilitated in medical sciences, research project director, oncologist surgeon - for prodigious activity over 50 years in the field of research and development and for the 32 patents obtained.
Professor Gheorghe Anghelici, Doctor Habilitated in medical sciences, head of the hepatosurgery laboratory, director of research project, surgeon - was awarded the Gold Medal for Inventors of the World Intellectual Property Organization for his significant contribution in the field of activity and for the 55 patents obtained.
The trophy for Best Invention Created By A Woman Inventor went to Gabriela Motelica, assistant professor at Arsenie Guțan Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Implantology for the work Device for excision of soft tissues in pericoronitis.
The trophy for Best Invention Created By A Young Inventor was awarded to doctoral student Artur Colţa, Department of Urology and Surgical Nephrology, for the work Method of treatment of chronic calculous abacterial prostatitis complicated by infravesical obstruction.

The exhibition took place online in Chisinau, on November 17-20, 2021. It was organized by the State Agency for Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research, Ministry of Culture, National Agency for Research and Development and the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research.
Infoinvent laureates received their distinctions on December 7, 2021, during an event that took place at the AGEPI headquarters, where, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only representatives of the participating institutions and companies were invited to convey the well-deserved distinctions, as well as congratulations and assurances of distinguished appreciation.
In total, more than 400 inventions, unique innovation projects and creative products from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, China, Vietnam, Australia, Korea and Croatia were virtually exhibited at the show. Following the evaluation of the works, the Committee of Experts awarded 290 gold, silver and bronze medals, 169 medals going to the works exhibited by the national participants. The presented inventions were also awarded trophies, cups, diplomas and special mentions from AGEPI and national and international partners.
